Hello Jim, we were saying !
JH> I got lucky - they were out of the sale model at the local Sears, so
JH> they substituted another model so I got a $25 one for $10.
Good on you. But I am surprised that you did not have any
yet. I am swamped in multi-meters here. The only thing that I
yearn for is an AC watt-meter, you know the one with a C-clamp
that opoens up and you place over a wire and it reads the
watts/amperes flowing through.
JH> came with a separate AC voltage detector, which I've been wanting.
JH> Those things are some kind of magic - - can detect if 125VAC is
JH> present even when no current is flowing thru the conductors.
PFM ! No less. I am hurrying back to TI tomorrow, there is
a sale on tools up in Largo and I want to get a chain-saw
sharpening machine for quite cheap. Also a belt sander for
$24.00. Can not miss up on these. I was spliting logs again
yesterday and cutting them to 16" to fit into the fireplace
insert, slow combustion. I would use that machine maybe 10
times/year so I do not need a $600.00 one, this one is at
$60.00.
The Barnstormer says...Bye !
