subject: Bogus advert

RS> Any truth in the rumour that YOU are responsible for the bogus ad in
RS> a WA newspaper purporting to be a recall of your oppositions product ?
RS> It has a quite remarkable similarity to your obsession with
RS> your claims about their purported use of pirated software.

JR> Well first where did you hear this rumor??
JR> This is the first I have heard of any such rumor, but I have seen
JR> the advert. A copy was faxed to me. It was in the WEST AUSTRALIAN.

JR> My information is that it is not a bogus advert.

Apparently the WA printed a retraction. I havent seen
it myself. Rather a grovelling retraction apparently.

JR> AUSTEL had demanded a recall of some DYNALINK modems. DynaLink
JR> Australia was meant to have advertised this fact and to notify
JR> all dealers. I did see such an advert in the Financial Review.

Possibly, but that says nothing useful about the WA ad.

JR> On the subject of DynaLink Australia shipping pirated
JR> software. Are you suggesting that this is not true??

Nope, saying that had remarkable similaritys to your rave on about that.

JR> DynaLink Australia have addmited this, they have paid the penalty
JR> and have stopped shipping pirated software. The matter is closed.

Presumably the matter of who posted the bogus ad in the
WA purporting it was Dynalink posting that ad is not tho.
