I am just curious...has anyone out there encountered a problem with
poor performance of their V-Brakes?  I had poor braking performance and 
I found the brakes were actually ruining my rims!!  I found the problem
to be the pads themselves--they were designed for ceramic rims only!
I found this out by actually removing the pad from the 'holder' (for
lack of a better term) and printed on the back were the words "For 
Ceramic Rim Only."  I felt shimano should have printed this on the 
exterior of the pad or at least the box!  Anyone having a similar
problem...by all means, write back!  
... My other computer is a Mac...God help me!
