-> -> That is a VERY, VERY, VERY bad Idea as it applies to Electronic -> -> Circuits. Compressed air can cause VERY big Static Charge buildup when -> -> blown across a Circuit card and that Static Electricity can Destroy -> -> solid state devices. -> OK, never used the method myself. -> My spare AT PS was so bad I just doused everything but the fan breifly -> in 99 percent isopropyl alcohol. -> Don't know how wise this was but the PS would soon be a loss otherwise -> anyway. we'll see. In the old days I used Liquid Freon for cleaning Electronic assemplies. That is Outlawed now of course now days as well as it's predicessor CarbonTetrachloride. Which I used a number of gallons in my Much Younger years. Another tip though for cleaning electronics is to uae a PH Netural Dish Washing Detergent and Wash them. They dry them in an oven set at about 125 F Air drying in the sun on a warm day also works. The only caution is to make sure they are Completly DRY before powering up. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Shakey Jake's *ALL FREE BBS* Santee, CA (1:202/1324) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 202/1324 10/3 106/2000 633/267 |
