t -> WC> I know I was shocked at how bad it was and still worked. -> WC> Need to pick up a ten dollar voltmeter to check it due to -> WC> the extreme measure I took in cleaning it. -> Turns out that today is second day of a 2-day sale at Sears - -> They have a digital multimeter for half price $10 vs. $20. If you can't -> get out, they _may_ have it available on sale at sears website? As usual the dog gets priority. Soon. -> I got lucky - they were out of the sale model at the local Sears, so -> they substituted another model so I got a $25 one for $10. This one -> came with a separate AC voltage detector, which I've been wanting. -> Those things are some kind of magic - - can detect if 125VAC is present -> even when no current is flowing thru the conductor. I used to have to put ferrite beads on high gain op-amps to filter that out, and they'd pickup radio signals too without the beads on inputs! --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
