Yes, I would say that the new Financial year resolution for 
Intel is that from now on in you only get 12 months.

Maybe this indicates that they could expect a similar problem 
(bug) in future releases and they are covering themselves.

Though, I hear that  this last episode didn't really hurt them 
that much. (they had $600 million put aside for when the 
public woke up that they were pulling a swifty.
