     Yep I have the same Modem, but use Bink and was not keeping an eye on my
logs till my Hub sent Netmail. When I looked at My logs I found a LOT of NO 
CARRIERS and then a Connect with My Hub ( USR Sport Ext 28.8 not 33.6) for 
mail would come next. His Netmail was not about that it was the fact the when 
trying to send Files or Mail there were all kinds of Errors and transfers 
would abort.. had to try over and over. I tracked back in My logs found that 
when I changed to -25 from -12 it started.. I've since gone back to -12 
(three weeks now) and have yet to see a NO CARRIER or bad transfer..
