Melody time was a 1946 Disney picture much like Fantasia, except it drew upon
popular music and ballads for it's musical selections, instead of classical
pieces like Fantasia did. Like Fantasia, it had 9 unreleated animated
vignettes set to music, but it was, in the opinion of most critics, put
together better than Fantasia was. Melody time was a 1949 Disney picture in
the same genre, and was Disney's final "omnibus" movie.
