Hi Franklin,
So she has a *separate* modem attached to e.g. COM1 on her W98 machine?
Are the actual DNS addresses explicitly set up on her machine? Or do you 
have the INJOY internal values [the 111.222. type] for NAT set up on her 
machine?
Maybe if your main Injoy-server-machine has an external modem you can 
attach that with a KVM-type switch, so that when your machine is 
offline, she just has to flick a switch [with her {internal?} modem 
disabled], to use the main modem.
