| subject: | DVD Data Backups? |
Cross-posted to both TECH and WIN95 Echoes Hello, ALL. Anyone here regularly using DVD +/-R or +/-RW discs for data backup and restoration of HDD contents? If so, please tell about your satisfaction with it, and what software you are using. BIR, my SIL told me they use Roxio where he works, and that NERO has probs with nested subdirectories. This would be the full version of the software, not the version which comes with drives sold at retail I do have a SONY DVD R/RW+/- drive here, but have not yet started using it. I went by the local Office Depot today, and found spindles of 50 DVD-R discs on closeout at $5 - which is only a dime a disc, so I bought both of the two spindles they had set out. Thanks in advance for any information or advice. - - - JimH. ...
