Cross-posted in TECH and WIN95 Echoes Hello, ALL. I need to build up an AMD Athlon system for my son for Christmas. I plan on putting either a 40GB or an 80GB HDD in there. His present 'puter will be retired, and the OS he has is Win98SE. As I see it, to keep cluster sizes small, best for the 40GB drive would be 15/15/10 or so, formatted to FAT32. I don't think he would want or need any smaller subdivisions than that. In case of the 80 GB drive, looks to me like he would be best off to upgrade to an OS which will support NTFS. Comments, corrections and suggestions are invited. Thanks in advance - - - JimH. ...
