| subject: | dying burner? |
123a30234fd9 tech Hello Tom - ->> Any recent sales on at Best Buy, Office Max, or Office ->> Depot where I can snag a CDRW cheap? My machine and hard ->> drive are too slow to feed a DVD burner or I'd go that ->> route. :-\ TW> None of those stores had an Ad in my Sunday Paper. They go TW> for about $25 to $30 here in the San Diego Califronia Area. TW> The DVD burners have already fairly well pushed them off TW> the market so I wouldn't expect there to betoo many super. TW> And Ironicly even the Single Layer DVD's are almost pushed TW> off the market by the Flood of Dual Layer ones. I've noticed the dual layer DVD burners. I kept telling my brother to wait on getting a DVD burner until the "dust settled" and recently agreed with him that now is/was the time. Unfortunately he wound up with the single layer DVD burner JUST before the dual layers became available from HP (he likes HP machines). Oh well, he can do over 4 gigs per disk so what's to not like? :-) > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ --- * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
