I've noticed the dual layer DVD burners. 

I kept telling my brother to wait on getting a DVD burner until
the "dust settled" and recently agreed with him that now is/was
the time. Unfortunately he wound up with the single layer DVD
burner JUST before the dual layers became available from HP (he
likes HP machines). 

Oh well, he can do over 4 gigs per disk so what's to not like?
