The difference here is between "could have jumped" and "would have jumped."
He is obviously capable of jumping to the top of the wall... HOWEVER -- As I
said before, if you look at the replay, where Tarasco "COULD HAVE" jumped and
"WOULD HAVE" jumped are nowhere close to the same.
Upon impact of the ball into the kid's glove, Tarasco was on the ground, not
prepared to jump, arm *not* completely extended skyward and the ball was less
than three feet above him and on it's downward trajectory.
No way in heck that Tarasco could have jumped, in the last fraction of a
second that it takes the ball to fly less than three feet, the required
height to catch the ball.
