Heck, I've considered it for heating my machine shop even down here in
the "Broiler Belt."
With a big V-8 idling along pulling a generator, you could even hang a
couple of freon compressors on it and get some REAL Heat pump
efficiency.  The break-point would be the availability of good cheap
natural gas for fuel!  (Which I don't have, but many people DO.)
