And I thought the original question was *how* we got new ones each year, 
considering that they don't make seeds and all, (to start new ones... but 
maybe I missed some of it   :)
(Sort of reminds me of the little kid that asked where he came from and ended 
up getting a course in sex education... when all he wanted to know was where 
he was *born*!    :)
