The concept of combining shellfish and sausage in a stew is a relatively

MMMMM-----Meal-Master - formatted by MMCONV 2.10
Title: [Bubba-L] Frogmore Stew 2
Categories: southern, stews, sausage, shellfish
Servings: 1
4 qt water
24 oz beer
2 lemons -- quartered
2 onions -- quartered
2 bay leaves
seasoning (your choices
-shrimp boil - pepper - ???)
1/2 lb smoked sausage -- cut in
chunks
2 potatoes -- quartered
2 ears corn
2 lb shrimp
Everyone has their own 'correct' way of doing this, but here is a
starting point:
Bring all of this to a boil - keep at a rolling boil 15 minutes
Lower to medium heat
Add 1/2 pound smoked sausage cut in chunks; cook 20 minutes add 2
potatoes quartered ( or new potatoes ) cook 20 minutes
add 2 ears corn-on-the-cob cook 15 minutes
Return to rolling boil add 2 pounds of shrimp cook 1 to 3 minutes
drain and serve
