Exactly.  Why people pay money to get something you can have for
free in Fidonet is beyond me.  For $15 you can get a CDROM full
of shareware etc that will take you the next 5 years to try out
every program anyway.  In 3 hours at 14.4k you could get enough
compressed fidonet mail to take you the next year to read.

All I can say is that some people obviously have more money than
brains.

BTW, how come no-one has commented on my assertion that the market
normally has it wrong.  I was expecting to have some debate about
