I'm currently running a SupraFaxModem 288i (with 33.6 upgrade, ROM 
1.440-25), D'Bridge Front-end mailer and have had problems with two 
callers -- both using USR 28.8's upgraded to 33.6.  They are the only 
two systems I have difficulty with and both use the same modem 
(internal sportsters I believe).  The problem is they'll attempt to 
connect and I get a NO CARRIER response from the modem, this will 
happen 3 or 4 times in a row before they'll negotiate a 26.4 or higher 
connect.  I can look through my logs and see the definite pattern of 3 
or 4 NO CARRIERS and then a connect.
 
Has anyone experienced a similar situation and can you suggest any 
settings I could tweak on my side to help the situation?  Thanks.
