Actually, Jesus proclaimed a mixture of Buddhism and Hinduism, not to mention
many platitudes of certain Persian sects. The combination was new, but the
message had been preached for thousands of years in other lands. There is
good evidence that between the ages of 15 and 28, Jesus traveled to the far
east, to Persia, to China, to India and to Egypt and studied under some of
the great Buddhist and Hindu teachers of his time. Read "The Lost Years of
Jesus Christ" and "The Lost Teachings of Jesus Christ by Mark L. Prophet, and
"The Jesus Mystery" by Janet Boek. Collectively, there's some 1200 pages in
these books, and they are well written. They would form a good introduction
to the subject of the true life of the historical Jesus. They are "popular"
books not hardcore research materials, (such as the Apocryphal raw scriptures
are), but believe me, after these 3 books, you would know much more about the
subject than the average person. From there on, you could get into more
serious research if you were interested.
(I shouldn't get into this. Theology and Histo-theology is one of my
favorite subjects; I have read hundreds of books on the subject over the last
25 years. I also have virtually memorized certain PBS programs like the 8
part "Testament" series on the evolution and development of the book we now
know as the Bible. I have also studied, in depth, what collectively is
called "Comparative Religions", and I have read everything from The Bible to
the Talmud to all the Apocryphas, (old testament and new) - even books like
the Gospel of Thomas - to the Tibetan Book of the Dead, to books on WICCA,
spiritual magic and even satanism. SO: don't get me into histo-theology!

I'd have to agree on this. I don't think Jesus would consider the
institution of the R-rated movie to be a good thing. Actually, he might, if
the R-Rated movie dealt with adult themes in an intelligent way. But the
predilection for R-Rated movies to be sex and violence compositions - and
glorification of subject matter thereof, would probably be considered
idolatry by Jesus, and he would not be happy with it. And thus, the parts of
Disney that deal with such media, he probably wouldn't be too happy with
either.
