I know USR made their own modifications to v.32terbo (for
ASL I think?), but, I don't think that those modifications
made it "unable to work with other v.32terbo modems". I
think they just extended v.32terbo further (from 19200 to
21600) IF and only IF connecting to another USR Courier.

I have not seen this primer but I have no reason to doubt
that it is good. However if it states the above I think
it's in error on this one point about v.32terbo at least.
