 I just saw a demo of this speeed advantage of USB.
A friend was copying Data between two win 98 machines using a Serial
cable and a DOS laplink program I had given him back i nthe DOS days.
Besides screwing up all the Long file names it was DOG SLOW!!! :-)  :-)

 I fixed him up with a USB Bridge cable and a small program(PC Linq) to
use it. Even at USB-1 the speed almost blew him away. :-)
