On the 03/10/96 01:11, Paul waffled to Dieter..

 Hello Paul,

PE> Well, my system just crashed a few minutes ago, it was a proper IBM
PE> internal trap blah blah blah. Normally I have to reset, because

God knows what you are up to...

 PE> Alt-Ctrl-Delete doesn't work. This time I tried
PE> alt-ctrl-numlock-numlock, and it worked great! I didn't insert the
PE> presumably 64 disks required, but what I did do was press
PE> alt-ctrl-delete and it worked! Excellent stuff!

PE> BTW, where did you find this documented, or was it word-of-mouth?

It was something I read somewhere, I think it was in the 2.11
manuals, somewhere near the back. It helped me a couple of times
when I was messing around with incompatible sound cards and
 video drivers.

PE> Secondly, do you know of a way of getting a memory dump of a single
PE> task space, so that when just a normal application (like msged) traps,
PE> I can get the full memory dump to debug what happened? Actually, the
PE> idea is that other users of msged can do a memory dump and send it to
PE> me. This is normal practice for debugging on MVS. It's not nice
PE> telling customers "I can't reproduce it, so can't fix
it". BFN. Paul.

I know what you are asking, but I can't help you. Sorry. Try
asking in OS2_Z3 or OS2, or even an OS2 programming echo.

 Dieter
