123a34c97adc tech Hello Tom - ->> I added an extension to the power connector and an extra ->> long IDE cable to one machine then pulled those out the ->> back through an unused slot cover. I could switch hard ->> drives rather easilly at that point since it was just lying ->> there behind the computer on the desk. :-) TW> I do in effect the same thing with Two of my Computers. TW> Except I leade the Side Cofer off. :-) I was told some time ago that leaving the side cover off does not allow the fan(s) to pull the air across the drives and other heated parts of the machine as it was intened to do when the case is closed.
