only before xxcarol's system packes them into PKTs... that was the confusing
part of todd's initial post(s) on the situation...

it was processing PKTs and extracting the packed messages...

correct... it looks like everything on the mystic side is operating
correctly... it is also operating properly on xxcarol's side in that the MSGs
are being packed into PKTs... that the netmails are empty file attaches is
one thing... that the empty netmails are being tossed may be another...

i keep thinking there's an option in mystic to delete empty netmails but i
haven't confirmed that at this time... i know that other systems do and i've
been digging in both sbbsecho and a couple of others recently so i may be
confusing which ones have this option...
