I'm not familiar with the Okidata 4W, but it sure sounds like a
Windows GDI printer. If so, all rasterization is done by the PC's CPU
-- the printer has no smarts at all. I don't think such a printer can
do anything at all under DOS or any other operating system except
Windows.
