GD> GB> I will install Nt Server 4. on a D drive on my PC where I GD> GB> allready have 95 up and running. GD>Based on my experience, get rid of W95. It screwed up my NT setup GD>royally. You may have seen my horror story in the WIN95 echo. Gee. I have Win95, NT 4.0 server AND Netware 4.11 running on my server here at home with no problems at all. I also have a client workstation running Win95 and NT 4 workstation as well with no trouble. It all depends on the installation order and different drives or partitions for some of it. The NT manuals define how to install NT along with Win95 and create a multiple boot screen to allow selection of the desired operating system. GD> GB> I dont have any communication card (E 3 com) in the pc ... so GD> GB> will I have NT running with no more than I already have with GD> GB> win95 ? Or do I expect much more ? GD>What are you expecting? You can only run one operating system at a GD>time... GD> GB> Thank you all for feedback and opinions .. GD>You're welcome. I guess the answer to the second question depends on a better defined question. In NT, the following is true. Some applications are NT only (i.e. Internet Explorer for NT ) while others are 95 and NT. Others will not install on NT but run under NT (i.e. Procomm for 95).
