Oh please! Won't someone shoot me while I'm not looking so that I don't
have to be frustrated by selling my soul for a few more
gig!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Oh drool oh drool I'm up to my stool. Just think, I could use the $1350
drive in my IBM, and the ST11200N that I currently have I could put into my
Amiga, so I'd have an extra gig on both machines.
Oh please!!!!
The thing is, I checked other prices, and indeed I can get other second
hand SCSI drives for 75c/meg, so the 65c/meg that this represents is not
the once in a lifetime oppurtunity it seems at first.
It's been a while (2 months or so) since I last checked on the price of drives.
David, you were meant to be chasing up disk drive prices, what have you got
to report?
I need SCSI myself, have they come within earshot of price/meg that IDE has
or something?
Hey Anthony, did you end up staying at home for the extra month and get a
400 meg drive? Or are you still at home and saving up for a 2.1 gig drive?
Crikey, where's the devil when you need him? For that much storage, I'll
sell my soul in this life and the next 5.
Hopefully my get rich quick scheme will make me rich real quick and I can
get some more bloody storage. Crikey, I might even spring for a backup
tape unit one of these days. Or at least a few floppy disks. BFN. Paul.
