all the CD cleaner disks i've seen have had at least one brush to brush the
dust off the lens... no scam there that i can see... without one of those,
one has to disassemble the drive to the point that the lens can be accessed
and cleaned... i've done both and have had to disassemble due to material
other than just dust...
