I'll quote from the doc:  ;)

"Supported mailers are FrontDoor, InterMail, D'Bridge, Binkley, Portal
of Power, MainDoor and Xenia. If your mailer is compatible with any of
these, it can be used too."

And Binkd is what is compatible with Binkley, and that is what most (and me
too) use these days...
