-> JP> I also have mini connector to serial adapters but none in use -> JP> as of now. Why did I get them ??? -> They came with the mouse? -> some ps/2 mice can be used with a special adaptor plug to connect to a serial -> port. but it needs (among other things) a mouse with a 6 conductor cable. -> normal ps/2 mice only have 4 conductor cables. Interesting. I have set up several older machines using the PS/2 to Serial Adapter and have not had one fail to work. In fact on the old machine I am using right now(AMD 200) I have one in use and have used several PS/2 mouse and Track Balls and they all have worked. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Shakey Jake's *ALL FREE BBS* Santee, CA (1:202/1324) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 202/1324 10/3 106/2000 633/267 |
