I had good luck with my Forest River product, a 2005 Wildcat 28RK 5th wheel.
Until I cracked the frame on my last trip up the highway that is. Not their
fault, I was abusing it by going to fast. Been there, 6 times, etcetra, and we
just wanted to get home. Of course I met a guy who'd just bought a motorhome
with a refund when his brand new Montana broke in half. About the only thing
that was wonky is that the shackles on the suspensions are not lubricated,
which apparently is/was an industry standard, and we went through 3 sets, 65000
miles will do that.
Still using the Wildcat. It's now parked, permanently, and has become a
"cabin" out in the weeds. Kept telling the cats (there were 2 over the years,
both named PITA) it was their Summer, or Winter depending, Palace.
Now days I spend about 3.5 days a week down there, and go back to Anchorage
(165 miles one way) to cook, wash, replenish supplies, pay bills, and do email
over the other 3.5 days.
