Last May, I was checking out the Kmart ad in the Sunday paper, and I
saw that they had a RCA Dolby Surround Pro Logic reciever with
speakers on sale for $199.00. 120 watts total power, spread over five
speakers, (30 watts each for the left, right, and center speakers, and
15 watts each for the two rear speakers.) The first time I watched
NextGen in Surround, I was blown away. Now all my favorite shows are
a lot better. DS9, Voy, X-Files, Millenium, B5, and all the premium
movie channels are all in surround, and it was worth the money I spent
for the reciever.
