You understand the concept perfectly. There is no use of school policies and
no new laws, just a zero in on a specific problem in a concentrated manner. I
might add that many of the advertised, major campaigns are usually crowd
pleasers in terms of the good citizens getting what they want to the limit of
the law. Some of the campaigns I remember the best involved areas completely
out of control, areas some would call a war zone or an impact area. There are
some areas like this in some cities that are not patrolled at night by the
police because of damaged or destroyed police cars and injury or death to
police officers. I know this is hard to believe, but some of these areas
require a tactical team before a response can be made. We feel fortunate that
we don't have any areas like this in Lawton, Oklahoma.
