* Robin Forster got everyone's attention by mumbling this to All:
RF> Can anyone point me in the direction of a good reference for OS/2
RF> system calls? I am especially interested in text mode screen output,
RF> cursor control etc
None of the current IBM printed references includes the Kbd, Mou, and Vio API
functions (they're from the old 16-bit API). A good reference book for these
functions is OS/2 EXTRA! KBD, MOU & VIO SPECIAL FUNCTIONS REVEALED, by Len
Dorfman and Marc J. Neuberger, ISBN 0-8306-4567-5, US$19.95.
RF> I am in need of the following functions:
RF> set current text mode (25 row, 43 row, 50 row colour)
RF> set text window
RF> clear current window
RF> output char (relative to window)
RF> output string (relative to window)
RF> change cursor shape
RF> hide/display cursor
I'm pretty certain the Vio API has routines for most, if not all of these
functions.
