  I tried it both ways and it didn't make any difference. Borland is
kinky for text files and they buggered-up Pascal because of it. Pascal
can't use ftell and fseek in text files. C does it better.

  I hereby release nullzero.c to the Paul Edwards domain. Now you can
do whatever you like with it.

  It was interesting going back to C after so long, and I can see why
people like writing the code. Pascal is verbose by comparison (which
is why it's easier to read), but I still prefer the Pascal approach. 
And the Pascal compiler is about 10-times faster! And similar code is
smaller.
