-> In the old days I used Liquid Freon for cleaning Electronic assemplies. -> That is Outlawed now of course now days as well as it's predicessor -> CarbonTetrachloride. Which I used a number of gallons in my Much -> Younger years. Yeah the freon is inert and a fine cleaner but lousy for the ozone layer. -> Another tip though for cleaning electronics is to uae a PH Netural Dish -> Washing Detergent and Wash them. They dry them in an oven set at about -> 125 F I've used distilled water on some stuff, wouldn't know how to go about finding out if dishwashing soap was PH 7. -> Air drying in the sun on a warm day also works. -> The only caution is to make sure they are Completly DRY before -> powering up Of course. --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Try Our Web Based QWK: DOCSPLACE.ORG (1:123/140) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 123/140 500 106/2000 633/267 |
