* Cross Posted to MAKENL_NG * Cross Posted to FTSC_PUBLIC As promised, I have now tested FD v2.02 and v2.12 as well, along with a few more mailers. Complete results of all mailers and compilers tested can be viewed at http://madmail.ods.org/fidotest.htm. Here are my most recent test results: FDNC (FrontDoor v2.02 NC) compiles -Unpublished- without Pvt listings without error. The FrontDoor mailer will make no dial attempt when it encounters -Unpublished- in field six. Forced polls are changed to Hold. FDNC (Frontdoor v2.12 SW) compiles -Unpublished- without Pvt listings without error. The Frontdoor mailer will make no dial attempt when it encounters -Unpublished- in field six. Forced Polls are changed to Hold. MDNC (MainDoor v1.02) compiles -Unpublished- without Pvt listings without error. The MainDoor mailer will make no dial attempt when it encounters -Unpublished- in field six. Forced Polls are changed to Hold. MCMail (v1.21g5 Freeware) when used with Qnode (v2.00) on the V7 version compiled nodelist acts similarly to BinkleyTerm with Qnode by default. When -Unpublished- is encountered without the Pvt keyword, 011 is dialed, then nothing else. MCMNODE, included in the package, compiles -Unpublished- without Pvt listings without error. MCMNODE produces older (V6) format. When this format is used with MCMail, 011 is dialed and nothing else as well. MCMail allows two methods to prevent unwanted dialing in it's config file, both which work very effectively. The MinCallBaud keyword, when set to 2400, will prevent the mailer from dialing any node with a 300 baud listing. The NoCallFlags keyword will prevent the mailer from dialing any node with a user-specified nodelist flag in their listing. As an example, this keyword can act on IBN, IFC, ITN, or even any future flags, say for example, ION. --- GoldED/W32 3.0.1* Origin: MikE'S MaDHousE: WelComE To ThE AsYluM!
