That is different than what I see. 192.168.*.* is a lan address?

This is what I see here..

ftp> ls

150 Opening ASCII mode data connection for /bin/ls
-r--r--r--  1 trmb         trmb       512 Feb 13 00:33 00index

and it completes as expected.

I suspect that this is a hardware, rather than configuration issue.
