Hello Dean!

Replying to a message of Dean Roddey to Werner Geuens:

DR> I use Rimstar, because it can emulate Brief (as well as other
DR> editors) very well, it is very OS/2 savy, its macro language is C so
DR> it is easy to write serious macros, it has a built in hex editing
DR> mode, its very multithreaded, PM oriented, multi window and multi
DR> buffer per window, has syntax coloring, has full support for
DR> compiling inside itself, the compilation is asynchronous so you can
DR> continue to work, handles column oriented operations (which is a
DR> requirement for me), allows you to put the cursor on a word and
DR> request it be looked up in a list of .INF files you provide.

Several of those option are included in Boxer/2. But of course Boxer/2 is
not PM, which can make a big difference. I'm sold on Boxer/2, but would
sure like to try Rimstar and check it out.
I had never heard of it, is it free-, share- or payware ?

Bye, Werner!
