Can't believe how you can make such a statement that using two spaces after a 
period goes back over 200 years. The typewriter was invented in 1867 by 
Christopher Sholes. No good desktop publisher or keyboarder today uses more 
than one space after the period. Anyone who uses two spaces has not advanced 
to professional status.
