Don't know if it is available in Canada although it may be under a
different name. As old time agate seekers and polishers, my wife and I
for years have used an all purpose hobby cement called "527". Comes in a
tin tube, easily applied, and fool proof. Providing you don't leave
errant drops on your fingers or hands which then have a tendency to pick
up stray bits and pieces of this and that which you will wear the rest
of your life if you don't get rid of them before the cement sets up.
A friend of ours who also lived on the "Agate Coast" covered a front
door entry panel with various tints of polished agates he accumulated
over the years. It was beautiful, especially when the rays of an
exterior light would filter through the glass and the attached agates
after dark. Think he used "527" or at least a similar adhesive.
Regards,
Bert
