The June issue of "The Communicator", the union magazine put out
by P.E.F. (New York Sates' Public Employees Federation, a division
of the AFL-CIO) has this timely bit of advice for union members in
an enclosed flyer called "Power Talks", on page PT4 in an article
titled "Don't get mad, get organized":
"Stop contributing to one-issue organziations, such as the NRA
(National Rifle Association) that finance reactionary anti-labor
candidates."
The article was written by Wayne Bayer from the State Department of
Environmental Conservation, P.E.F. Region 8, Albany.
Union members who wish to express their displeasure should direct
