-> TW> Yes it has the Round DIN connector. I don't think the current Mac's -> TW> use that kind any more but before they went crazy over USB it was their -> TW> standard Printer Cable Printer End Connector. -> What I have seen is that the M*c connector, round as it is, is -> totally different from the DIN one that you mentioned. First of al, it -> is quite a bit smaller in diameter. I will not dwell on the pin-out. All I know is that the Manual says you can Connect your Macintosh using a Serial or Local Talk printer cable.. And there are differenbt sizes and number of pins in the "DIN" system just like many other Connector/Receptacle Systems. I also forgot that the Printer also has a Infrared reciever on the front and it is included in the Autoselect input functioning. I used to use it with my laptop but the range is shore, 5 ot 6 feet, and it is very directional. you have ot hold the laptop fairly well p[ointing exacticaly at it. Difficult with the laptop sitting in your lap and printing a large document!! :-) :_0 --- Platinum Xpress/Win/WINServer v3.0pr5* Origin: Shakey Jake's *ALL FREE BBS* Santee, CA (1:202/1324) SEEN-BY: 633/267 270 @PATH: 202/1324 10/3 106/2000 633/267 |
