I did think about doing that, tho not with Awk. Then I decided
that I didnt really like quite a bit of the current OLR and it
would make a lot more sense to do a fresh OLR which just accepted
a variety of mail packet formats like PKT, QWK and BlueWave etc.

Then I began to wonder just how long Fido would matter much with
it starting to implode quite dramatically and the internet gets up
a massive head of steam and pisses all over Fido. What with a decent
search capability on the older messages, a vastly bigger array of
newsgroups, all available for no marginal cost whatever once you
have a decent internet account, hard to justify the effort of a
whole new OLR for a technology thats now imploding dramatically.
