No, it's more robust, but it's the only way you can join the debate about
which is better - Squish/JAM/*.MSG/QuickBBS messagebases, or Hydra/Janus
file transfer protocols or FTS-1/FTS-6/EMSI session negotiation.  Not
having an opinion on that is like not even having a brain.  Oh.  BFN.
