I would try this and see if it does that...I *think* most Voice/Fax modems
should come with software for this purpose. I got some software with my
Supra/Diamond 56k modem called "FaxTalk Messenger."
I realize you don't live here in the US, and I don't know what sort of phone
system you have over there, *but* here in the US, we can have different phone
numbers assigned to one phone line and have a "distinctive ring" (and that's
what that service is called) for each number. Then you get a "black box"
which will detect the different ring patterns and pass the call along to the
appropriate device depending on which phone line is ringing. You would
probably need at least two separate modems for this...one for voice and fax
and one for Data/BBS OR (using something like BGFAX along with your mailer)
one for voice only and one for FAX/DATA.
BGFAX works well with Binkley, I'm told, although I've never tried it. The
ONLY time I used my mailer to receive a Fax, I was running Portal of Power
which has built-in fax reception capability...
