Hi Nancy,
NB> NB>> Quite true... :) Not sure whether or not the weather you were

RH> Be glad; it was nasty cold. Night time temps in the single digits and
RH> wind chill (there was a lot [!] of wind) well below 0. The camper was
RH> nice & snug tho.
NB> Oh, I am glad... and good that you stayed nice and snug in the
NB> camper... this weekend, though, we did have the single digits and
NB> subzero wind
NB> chills.... with a little snow....
Only storm we went thru was in Wyoming. Other places, the storm
preceeded us. We also altered travel routes to avoid running into some
storm systems.
NB> NB>> gone by Monday.... we've had dustings since, but there's an
NB> NB>> advisory for lake effect snow starting probably tonight into
NB> NB>> tomorrow....
RH> We had a white Christmas in Utah. (G)
NB> Ours was white enough... ;)
Not surprising. I do remember a few green Christmas days tho. One year
(1982) we got up to Steve's folks after dark, promising Rachel she could
play in the snow the next morning. Turned warm and rainy overnight,
melting all the snow. Didn't even see any in the Catskills that trip.
NB> RH>> Eventually, but it seems like I've been out of commission much
NB> RH>> longer than I actually have.
NB> NB>> One gets impatient with the healing... and it's hard to keep
NB> NB>> perspective...
RH> I know, but I'll probably be putting the arm to the kneading/dough
RH> shaping test in a couple of weeks or so.
NB> Just be careful... :)
I will; we bought bread at the farmer's market last Saturday. But, I've
been cutting up meat and veggies (beef stew tonight) for various supper
meals.
NB> taste RH>> good tho, better than a lot of what we've gotten in the
NB> stores.
NB> NB>> Indeed... :) Nothing like home-baked bread.... :)
RH> German bakeries did a decent job; we bought bread from them quite
RH> often. I never bought any at the supermarket in Berlin.
NB> True, fresh-baked bakery bread caan come close... ;)
And they can slice it for you, faster than you can slice it yourself.
