Do you know what the brand name of the product was? Who was it made by,
such as Kaytee, Sunseed, Nedderlands,etc, or did it just have
Northshore's  name on it?
It sounds like it could be Nedderland's/Sunshine's, or Sunseed. Both
have dried fruits and veggies in them. There is also a product called
Karotten by Quicko that is ground up dehydrated carrots that swell up
when moistened with water. I have never tried this but hear it's good.
