Hello All - My monitor fell off of it's base in my daughter's trunk when she shipped the monitor to me (140 mile trip) and I suspect rolled on the screen back and forth over the ON/OFF switch. Now it won't turn on. :-\ I took the case off and checked to see if the fuse was burned out (somehow?) but it isn't. I'm guessing the front ON/OFF is damaged. It's an HP about 5 years old with AFAIK a micro switch that 'signals' the power supply to turn ON/OFF. Any suggestions as to how I can test my theory and/or get the monitor to turn on? fwiw: Doesn't have to be pretty as long as it works. > > , , > o/ Charles.Angelich \o , > __o/ > / > USA, MI < \ __\__ --- * ATP/16bit 2.31 * ...
