 They sure adn put out lots of Air at about 80 pounds or so. A reilroad
museum I associated with a couple of uears ago used o nto help light off
their Steam engine from  "Cold Iron". In the Smoke box they has an Air
Ventruri under t6he smoke Stack that created the Draft for the fire box.
You used Air to power the venturi untill you built up about 100 PSI of
stram and then you changed some valves and sent Steam to the Venturi.
